Whitestown Police Station

A new, 2-story wood-frame building was built on the Whitestown Municipal campus to better accommodate the growing needs of the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department. The approximately 26,000 square-foot building includes spaces to accommodate patrol, investigations, administration, and public functions, as well as a fitness/training space and sally port to house departmental vehicles. Approximately 7,600 square feet of the upper floor was allotted to accommodate spatial program requirements. The remainder of the upper floor serves as space that the department can expand into for future use. In keeping with the existing look of the Whitestown Municipal Complex, the building exterior is composed of brick and an exterior insulation finishing system with dark bronze-framed windows and trim.
