This is a recently let Federal-Aid road rehabilitation project for 276th Street from US 31 to Gwinn Road in Hamilton County. The project involved the rehabilitation/reconstruction of approximately 3.9 miles of two-lane roadway with 12-ft-wide travel lanes and 3-ft-wide paved shoulders from the intersection of US 31 east to the bridge over Little Cicero Creek. In addition, the project will mill and resurface approximately 0.7 mile of two-lane roadway from the bridge over Little Cicero Creek east to the intersection of Gwinn Road. Total project length is approximately 4.60 miles. RQAW also worked closely with Beck’s Hybrids, a key corporation in Hamilton County located on 276th Street in the project limits and heavily affected by the maintenance of traffic for the road rehabilitation. The total construction cost was $4.5 M.
